The 2017 ISCoS Annual Meeting was held in Dublin Ireland on October 24-26, 2017. It was attended by 743 delegates from 52 countries around the world. It was a multi-disciplinary meeting with physicians including physiatrists, urologists, neurologists, and spinal surgeons; physiotherapists; occupational therapists; nurses; psychologists; basic and clinical researchers; trainees including fellows, residents, and students; consumer advocates; industry representatives; philanthropic organization representatives; administrators; and educators among others.

A lecture by Stephen Muldoon entitled Health systems strengthening – increasing the quality and coverage of appropriate, accessible, sustainable and comprehensive healthcare and rehabilitation services for people with spinal cord injury globally
