Groups Acceptable Use Policy
In order to foster a positive and collaborative environment within our groups, each group is assigned an ambassador or a representative. This designated individual is entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing group activities, including the uploading and sharing of generic files and media. The ambassador will play a crucial role in monitoring member behaviour and group activities, promptly taking appropriate action when necessary, and promptly notifying platform managers of any concerns.
Ambassador Responsibilities:
Ambassadors are entrusted with the vital responsibility of overseeing group activities, encompassing the sharing of files and media. This mandate extends to facilitating blog and forum posts within their respective groups. With administrative support, ambassadors may also organize events for their community, such as webinars and meetings. It is crucial to note that the planning and execution of these events must be coordinated with the administration. Unilateral actions that bypass this coordination would constitute a violation of the group's acceptable use policy.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination:
Ambassadors, in collaboration with the administration, are authorised to set up events for their community, ensuring compliance with legal standards and platform policies.
Administrative Collaboration:
The planning and execution of events require close collaboration with the administration to maintain alignment with overarching policies and legal requirements.
Content Alignment:
Ambassadors are responsible for ensuring that all content shared, including blogs, forums, and event materials, aligns harmoniously with the group's defined purpose and adheres to community guidelines.
Legal Compliance:
All activities, whether it be content sharing or event organisation, must comply with local, national, and international laws, as well as the terms outlined in the platform's policies.
Coordination with Administration:
Policy Adherence:
Ambassadors must adhere to the established protocol for coordinating events with the administration to guarantee consistency with the group's acceptable use policy.
Approval Process:
Events must be subject to an approval process facilitated by the administration to ensure that they align with the platform's guidelines and legal standards.
Policy Violations:
Any attempt to conduct events independently, without proper coordination with administration, will be considered a violation of the group's acceptable use policy, leading to appropriate actions in accordance with platform regulations.
By accepting the role of an ambassador, individuals commit to understanding and complying with these responsibilities. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in sanctions, including the revocation of ambassador status and other measures deemed necessary by the administration. This framework aims to create a lawful and transparent environment within our community.
Communication with Platform Managers:
Ambassadors are required to maintain open lines of communication with platform managers. They should report any significant issues, concerns, or noteworthy activities within the group promptly.
Technology and Feature Assistance:
Ambassadors may seek assistance and support to effectively utilize the technological features of the group. This includes understanding and adhering to the agreed-upon terms and conditions outlined in the platform's privacy policy.
Collaboration and Compliance:
Ambassadors are encouraged to collaborate with group members to enhance the overall experience. They should ensure that the group utilises the platform's features in compliance with the agreed-upon terms and conditions, promoting a positive and secure digital space.
Member Expectations:
Cooperation with Ambassadors:
Group members are expected to cooperate with the appointed ambassador and follow their guidance regarding group activities and behaviour.
Responsible Use of Features:
Members should use the group's technology and capabilities responsibly, adhering to the terms and conditions specified in the platform's privacy policy.
Reporting Issues:
Members are encouraged to report any concerns or issues to the group's ambassador promptly. This fosters a collaborative effort to maintain a positive group atmosphere.
